Implementing PROMs in Low-Resource Oncology Settings: Barriers, Facilitators, and Best Practices

Abstract

This review aimed to answer the PICO question: In adult cancer patients in lowresource oncology settings, does the implementation of PROMs compared to standard care without PROMs improve patient-centred outcomes, symptom tracking, and clinical making? Google Scholar and Google were searched to identify research papers on the topic. They were screened and selected repeatedly using certain inclusion and exclusion criteria, through the PRISMA flow process, to select 20 papers.
